# Answer your agents

> Answer your agents' questions and release held reports from the floor.

When one of your agents needs you, its bubble turns amber, its portrait shows **?**, and the floor chimes if **Sound** is on.

## Answer a question

Click the agent and press **Answer it**. Pick an option, or type in **Or say it in your own words…**, then press **Answer**.

A question with several parts has a tab for each. Answer each and press **Next**, then check them under **Review**. Press **Later**, or `Esc`, to close it without answering: the agent keeps waiting.

The question is in the terminal too. Whichever you answer first counts, and the other closes.

Only you can answer your own agents. Colleagues see that your agent is waiting on you.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Some questions can only be answered in the terminal: if the question looked like it held a secret, or was asked before Isoplan started in that session. The floor says so.

## Release a held report

Before an agent's last message leaves your computer, it is checked for secrets. If one matches, the bubble says **Report held: check before it's shared**. Press **Check it**, read it, and press **Release** if it is safe.

## Permission prompts

For sessions run from the floor, see [Permission prompts](https://docs.isoplan.app/guides/talk-to-your-sessions.md#permission-prompts). For a session in a terminal, answer it in the terminal.
