Two kinds of session
Use a session run from the floor when you aren’t at that computer, or don’t want a window. Use Talk to it on your own session to nudge one you already have open.
Talking to a session you opened yourself needs Claude Code 2.1.312 or newer. If the floor says Watching only, update Claude Code, then type
/reload-plugins in that session.Start a new session
Press + in your portrait row. The session runs on your computer, in a new room of its own.1
Pick the repo
Which repo lists the office’s repos you have used Claude Code in on this computer.
2
Pick the branch
Branch starts on The one it’s on now. Pick another and it opens in a separate copy of the repo, so your own checkout isn’t switched.
3
Pick where it runs
Where starts on Run it from the floor: no window, and you carry on with Talk to it. Your computer may also offer Open in Orca, Open in Claude app, Open in terminal or Open as a headless session.
4
Say what you want done
Type it in What you want done and press Start. Its room shows on the floor in a moment.
While it works
A message you send while it is working waits for the current turn to end. Press Add to the queue to line up several. Press Take back on one to remove it before it is sent. Press Read everything it did for the full detail of a turn, or Read the whole session.Sessions run from the floor
Permission prompts
When it needs your permission, its bubble flags and the floor chimes. The card says what it wants to do. Press Allow or Deny. With no answer in 10 minutes, it is denied and the agent is told.Stop it, or take it back
- Stop ends it at once, even mid-turn. Your next instruction starts it again.
- Take it back to my terminal closes it on the floor and gives you a command to carry on in a terminal.
